Applying for Funds
Applications for funding can only be accepted from people or organisations within our operational areas of the Midlands, the Northwest and the Northeast.
What sort of appeals do we consider?
Individuals - typically these are people with special needs, and we have been able to fund such things as specialist wheelchairs, sensory equipment for children with delayed development, therapy treatment and medical equipment not available on the NHS, ceiling hoists, chair lifts etc. Any number of items which improve the quality of life and future development.

Community Groups - In this category we include appeals from hospitals (typically equipment for childrens wards), special schools, playgroups, community organisations and youth organisations. In each case applications must be specific to a particular project of equipment, and we must ascertain that the purpose will benefit the whole group.

Local Charities - There are literally thousands of charities doing excellent work in the community and for the vast majority fundraising is a constant battle. The larger national charities will often hit the headlines and attract funds, many also advertise in the national media, but the smaller local charities are often answering the needs of the local communities in which they operate. Whilst we will help the national charities, we insist that any funds which we donate are only used in our operation areas.
What areas fall outside the guidelines?
The scope of work and indviduals and organisations needing support within the community is such that clarification is needed for those areas considered to be outside our aims and objectives.
